1.4420 (UNS S31655) stainless steel bar, also known as 316LN stainless steel, is a high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel designed to deliver improved mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Compared with conventional 316L, S31655 offers higher yield strength, enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and superior performance in chloride-containing environments.
