Common heat treatment methods for AISI 4130 steel plates include:
1. Annealing:
Temperature: 830°C (1525°F)
Process: Slow cooling to room temperature, usually done in a furnace.
2. Normalizing:
Temperature: 900°C (1650°F)
Process: Air cooling.
3. Quenching and tempering:
Quenching temperature: 860°C (1575°F)
Tempering temperature: 400 - 650°C (750 - 1200°F), depending on the desired hardness.
According to GB/T 3077-2015 standard.
1.High strength: able to withstand high loads and stress.
2.Excellent toughness: not easy to break under high stress and impact.
3.Good weldability: easy to process and weld, suitable for various manufacturing processes.
4.Wear resistance: maintains good performance in high wear environment.
5.Corrosion resistance: resists corrosion to a certain extent and prolongs service life.
