Wedge and trapezoidal profile wire is produced according to the required cross-sectional geometry. Cold drawing and controlled forming are used to obtain the specified width, height, taper and surface condition.
For precision profiles, dimensional tolerances should be agreed according to the customer's drawing. Critical dimensions such as top width, profile height and taper should be clearly marked before production.
